Our detachable license plate holder for the BMW S1000RR allows you to remove the license plate and license plate light as a complete unit without tools. This is made possible by our in-house developed quick-release system FUNKNERWORKS PQRS-1.

Note: Currently only applicable in conjunction with taillights integrated into the rear end.
The FUNKNERWORKS PQRS-1 system currently has 6 conductors. Two of them are used for the license plate light. A 10-pin quick-release solution for 3-in-1 turn signals of the BMW S1000RR is already in development.

We manufacture locally. All manufacturing steps – from sheet metal processing to final assembly – take place in Germany.

With our PQRS-1, license plates, turn signals, and license plate lights can be removed as a complete unit from the BMW S1000RR.

What sets your removable license plate holder for the BMW S1000RR apart from others?

Our holder not only allows for the license plate to be detachable, but also the entire license plate lighting on the BMW S1000RR! Furthermore, our holder is largely made of high-quality metal products, as we wanted to reduce the use of plastic parts to an absolute minimum. We have succeeded very well in this.

How do you ensure that the PQRS-1 is completely free of play on the BMW S1000RR?

Since our PQRS-1 is entirely self-developed, we were able to let our creativity run wild on the BMW S1000RR. We opted for weather-resistant rubber tensioning elements embedded in the quick release.
These ensure constant pre-tensioning and can also be replaced individually in case of damage or loss, making it easy to continue using the PQRS-1 without much effort.

What adjustment options does your removable license plate holder offer on the BMW S1000RR?

On the BMW S1000RR, our removable license plate holder can be adjusted to a special extent. Most importantly, the license plate, including the mounting plate and lighting, can be adjusted in height.
This allows for excellent results under the motorcycle tail.
In addition, the angle can be freely adjusted, and the turn signal bracket can be adjusted in width, for example, to "push" it very close to the license plate.

Is the removable license plate holder for the BMW S1000RR like a "short" license plate holder?

For the BMW S1000RR, our Removable License Plate Holder is essentially like a typical "short" license plate holder. Thanks to the free angle adjustment, the generous adjustability, and finally the option to quickly remove the holder, we have managed to cover all conceivable wishes of a biker.

What materials is the removable license plate holder made of for the BMW S1000RR?

We attach great importance to quality and durability, which is why we mainly use durable aluminum alloys. This allows us to achieve the stiffness we need in the components.
The only part of our license plate holder that is not made of metal is our PQRS-1. But even this is made of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic that is second to none.
